Michael Kevin is a dating coach, author and speaker based in Washington, DC. His book Become That Guy: Become Irresistibly Attractive is a comprehensive resource for dating and self-development. Starting in high school Michael made a conscious effort to figure out what it took to become better when it comes to meeting women. While in college 11 years ago he discovered the early stages of what is now known as the Pickup Artist (PUA) movement which helped him develop more power and choice in his dating life with women.
In addition to his personal experience with women and coaching others to be successful with women Michael has also developed his experience through jobs and training in sales, public speaking and personal development including Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Handwriting Analysis. His new book “Become That Guy” is a comprehensive resource toward dating and self-development based on over 11 years of experience in the Pickup Artist/men’s self development community. Michael rediscovered the Men’s Pickup Artist Movement in summer 2007 when a woman he went home with had a copy of the book “The Game” on her bedside table.

The phrase “Become That Guy” refers to becoming the kind of guy who is naturally attractive to women. Learning to become more attractive to women is about more than just knowing what to do or say in a given situation. If a man creates a strong set of beliefs about himself s and about women that make him attractive, the skills and behaviors will tend to follow naturally from that. Instead of being a guy who says things, you become that guy who is attractive.
He has coached men who were virgins have sex for the first time, and also to start their first girlfriend relationship. He has also helped men who have divorced and taken some time off from dating to get back into the game. Having at one time struggled, Michael understands the kind of mistakes most men make, and the obstacles that stand in the way of their success. In addition to helping men identify and overcome what is holding them back with women, Michael also helps men recognize what they already have going for them, both in life and with women. Oftentimes recognizing how you are already successful and building upon those strengths is the key to having breakthrough success.
While he is well versed in the different methods that exist Michael has no “method” to teach specifically. He believes in teaching skills and beliefs that are tailored to each clients individual needs. This allows his students to be genuine in their interactions with women and develop empowering skills and beliefs that extend beyond dating with women.

He coaches both through seminar workshops, “infield” at shops, bars and other places and one-on-one over the phone. Michael has conducted seminars on a wide range of dating and sex related topics in addition to workshops that work on transforming personal beliefs and building social skills. Infield coaching sessions allow students to learn by observing and doing. This helps to learn more rapidly and also get immediate feedback on what they are doing right and where they can improve in their interactions with women. Private one on one sessions by phone and in person allow Michael to get to know the client personally and further tailor what he teaches to each man’s unique personality and style.
He was a speaker at the 2010 PUA World Summit in Los Angeles, the World’s Largest convention for men’s dating and “pickup artists” and at the Global Pickup Conference in Washington, DC in January 2011. In addition to his own seminar and coaching business he also runs the DC Dating Coach Meetup in Washington, DC .
